Editorial Policy & Code of Ethics

At ChairGrade, editorial independence is the foundation of our existence. We believe consumers in India deserve reviews that are rigorous, technically accurate, and completely free from manufacturer propaganda.

1. Independence from Advertisers & Merchants

We do not accept paid reviews, sponsored ranking placements, or editorial sponsorships. A higher affiliate commission rate never increases a chair's score, ranking, or inclusion in a buying guide.

2. Transparent Testing Distinctions

Every review explicitly indicates its testing status:

• Hands-on Evaluated: Evaluated physically by our editors for adjustment feel, recline tension, mesh firmness, and assembly.
• Rigorous Specification Analysis: Detailed evaluation based on verified engineering schematics, certified load tests, and user evidence when physical units are unavailable.

3. Fact Checking & Corrections

When manufacturers update their components (such as gas lift classifications, caster types, or warranty periods), we update our database records. Anyone can submit a correction notice via our Corrections Policy.
